Our service is designed to minimize impact on your practice. Most data repairs can be completed and available to you on a priority basis by 5:00 PM EST if uploaded and paid for by 10:00 AM EST that morning.* That’s just seven hours! And, Medical Software and Services does not require that you ship your data to us so we can eliminate or minimize that costly downtime. You no longer have to burn your database onto a CD ROM or back it up to a tape. Our EASY FTP service allows you to simply copy your database through the internet to our secure server using a dedicated, password protected FTP site.

Our highly skilled and dedicated Medisoft data repair technicians have automated tools that we have developed to perform your data repair. This allows us to repair your database FASTER and charge LESS for the service!

Most data repairs can be ready the same day! Please keep in mind that weekends and holidays may delay delivery of data repairs. Ask our helpful customer service personnel about specific scheduling issues.

How our fees work:

Priority Service- Base fee $649 (Same day)
Standard Service- Base fee $449 (Forty-Eight Hour Turn around)

The base fee is a nonrefundable fee charged to look at and attempt repair of your database. The base fee also includes four hours of data repair labor. Most database repairs can be completed in just 4 labor hours. If a data repair requires more than four hours then additional time will be billed at either our priority rate of $120 per hour or our standard rate of $95 per hour.

Because we have special tools that automate the data repair process, most data repairs can be performed by our staff in the four hours which are covered in the base fee. For more complex and time consuming data repairs additional hours are billed at $120 per hour for priority turn around and $95 for standard turn around.

Telephone support services are billed by the quarter hour and are billed at $95 per hour. Remote access to your workstations or servers is also available. Remote access is the next best thing to being there!

Note: When very complicated data repairs require more than 4 hours to complete they may not be available the next business morning even when priority service is requested and billed. Because of the very nature of data repairs, it is impossible to know the extent of data corruption or damage until actually beginning the repair procedure. For this reason it is not possible to know how much time will be required to affect a data repair until after we have had the opportunity to open a database and examine it. Obviously in any data corruption scenario some data may be unrecoverable. In those situations in which a data repair is more complex than normal we can schedule a time to work on your data that is the least disruptive to your practice. Fortunately, most data repairs can be completed and the repaired database made available overnight!
