RELAYHEALTH CLEARINGHOUSE SETUP INSTALLATION:

 
  1. Be sure you have the appropriate carrier agreement(s) for your State.  Most commercial carriers do not require agreements for electronic claims.  The ones that do require agreements are listed on this page: Carrier Agreements.  When they ask for Vendor ID for McKesson, it is V00114
  2. After you have mailed or faxed your carrier agreements to the respective carriers, contact Ability Technical Services (866-287-8953), for enrollment in the RelayHealth System.
  3. ATS will then send you the completed RelayHealth agreement for your review.
  4. For those of you interested in the ONE year agreement, simply replace page 2 (Terms and Conditions) of your agreement with this document.
  5. Sign and fax the RelayHealth agreements to RelayHealth.  Allow about a week for them to process your account.
  6. In your Medisoft program, prepare for sending claims by following this checklist: Click Here for Dialup or Here for Broadband (Internet)
  7. Also, modify the Carriers in your Insurance Carrier list with the information needed to send electronically.  Be sure to use the Payer ID's for your carriers from this list: Payer Lists  If you require taxonomy codes, they can be found at this link: Taxonomy Codes
  8. As soon as you get the "GO!" from RelayHealth, you can begin to trasnmit claims.
